Inow get 45FPS : r/assettocorsa. Content Manager has taken over Video settings. I now get 45FPS I installed the game and late CM and have been playing for a while without a problem. Then as the Sun would literally blind me I found out about Video Settings and Sunrays in CM. I disabled it and now the game would not go over 50FPS.

EDIT: I found something, Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg, SHADOW_MAP_SIZE to 1 (default is 1024, 512 or whatever you have it set at) 128 is a nice low res number for shadows with high fps but 1 seems to almost disable them completly (0 just resets it to highest)"

Oneimportant tip : Get a good USB-C charger and USB-C cable to keep your Quest 3 charged when racing, since the battery does discharge pretty fast otherwise. 120Hz is already supported through VD and as always a RTX4090 is the best video card to fully enjoy the Quest 3 in PCVR. Justran a quick test. If you change from AASAMPLES=4 to 8 in the ini file it will change it to 8 in-game. The menu will show it as 0 (because there is no 8 option in the menu) but it will be at 8. Triedto tweak the Chase Camera a bit via content manager (distance, height ) and end up with a total mess. Too close, too far everything except playable chase cam. Whatever value I try (even some YT recommended) it just doesn`t work. I would like to reset it to default, without uninstalling everything. So far tried with deactivate plugin
Its called i9, RTX3080. Those are the settings you need Well not everyone has or can get a i9 and a rtx3080 on top of that these days. I completely understand that. My point is, to make this game really run properly AND look good, you really need a very powerful machine. With your setup, you will need to really lower the settings a fair amount.
Toomuch will result in twitchy steering. -0.1 to -0.3 is a good range. Rear toe in (positive) for stability and better forward bite. Too much will straighten the car when off throttle. +0.1 to 0.2 or up to 0.3 for high power FD style mods. Wheel settings are preference but defaults work fine for T300RS.
